Posted: Fri Jun 12, 2009 5:22 am Post subject: Shamela Library Linux Version |
|
|
السلام عليكم
This is my first post. I'm not yet a hardcore user of linux except 2 months back when I saw advertisement about ubuntu. I was impressed upon first trial of ubuntu which deviates into sabily
My proposition:
Is there any possibility of Shamela Library in Linux Version? Currently, I doing a lot of research in shamela library which can be downloaded at www.shamela.ws
If possible, I wanna avoid interchange between windows & linux esp if requires me to use Shamela library.. |

assalamu alaykum,
Thwab, which is included in Sabily, can import books from Shamela. Is it what you are looking for? _________________ Are you a Muslim? Do you want a free and reliable operating system? Do you want Islamic software pre-installed? All of that and much more with Sabily! |

I think that your problem is that you did not install our thwab Debian/Ubuntu
package, which autoinstalls mdbtools (the package required for thwab to be able
to open Shamela books). |

I never used the Shamela software (I just download the books I want from their website). But from the 2nd screenshot, I guess the books are in the "Books" subfolder. |
